Paris Olympics women's welterweight gold medalist Iman Kellyff (25) has declared legal action against the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
According to the BBC on the 12th, Kellyff expressed a tough stance on the International Boxing Association's (IBA) legal action against the IOC, saying, "I won't do anything."
On the 10th, the IBA filed a complaint with Swiss federal prosecutors against the IOC, raising the issue of Kelif's gender eligibility. "Given safety concerns and compliance, Kelif's participation in the Olympics is problematic," the IBA said in a statement. "The IBA is once again spreading false claims," Kelif said on his social network service. "Over the past two years, my name and image have been used without permission, and information that is not true has been circulated for personal and political purposes." He continued, "I will not be silent anymore. I will fight in the ring, I will fight in court, I will fight in public. The truth will surely come out."
He was previously banned from the 2023 World Championships due to gender issues. The prosecutor was conducted by the Russian-led IBA, which later disqualified him from the IOC as the World Boxing Authority due to the IBA's test reliability. The IOC said that the IBA's test was unreliable and allowed him to participate in the Paris Olympics. The IOC's decision made Lin You-ting (Taiwan) of Taiwan, along with Kelif, eligible to participate in the Olympics, both of whom won gold medals. 온라인바카라
In response to the IBA's legal action, the IOC dismissed it, saying, "This is only part of the IBA's ongoing campaign toward the IOC."
